If this was the singular article that pointed how the Internet has “fucked up things as far as critique”, you should spend more time on Rotten Tomatoes.

I even pointed out that What We Do In The Shadows is a fairly well-known film AMONG CULT FANS but if I walk up to an average movie-goer, they won’t instantly know the film. This site isn’t a niche and/or cult-based site; there are tons of younger or mainstream movie fans that I wanted this to serve as an introduction for. But sorry I killed journalism.

A list of obscure films that arent obscure to anyone other than someone who has only
watches HARRY POTTER flicks.

Some of them have made millions of dollars, and some are regarded as literal classics. WHAT WE DO IN SHADOWS was successful enough to warrant Netflix picking it up as a series.

Well then at least there is 2 films on this list for you to enjoy. With a fairly young and mainstream audience for the site, this served as a great introduction to some and a reminder for many.
