I think Leia is a different kind of female hero than Rey, tbh. Leia and Padme are diplomats; Rey and Jyn are warriors. It’s nice to see *variety* in our female heroes, and to see them be front and center instead of part of a male hero’s arc.

Leia could have been this a generation earlier…If not for the Titanium Bikini. In female heroes like Jyn, Rey, and the Ghostbusters, I see myself: quirky, smart, not the most feminine, and showing the boys how to do it. It’s refreshing. Thank you for your perspective.
