The image of all the creatures pulling vehicles was something a twelve year old me might have enjoyed, especially after discovering the Dungeons and Dragons Monster Manual. A huge shark, a giant deep sea fish, manta rays, all in the desert? Then the carnivorous bison? It went from plausable to ridiculous right there. Then there is the corny “Uncle Sam” image at the end. I will not be buying the next issue.
