It got 5000 times better after Tenrou. And you also know nothing if you think character don’t stay dead. There have been a few that have died permanetly. And there is nothing wrong with not killing characters and people also care for the deaths. If you think that really matters, you are an idiot as well. Look at Dragon Ball Z Saga, the most popular anime in the world and NO ONE DIES. And they can just wish them back with the dragon balls which is going to happen by the time it ends. All characters will be alive again.

There is far more to story telling than killing people off and fighting. If you can’t see the character dev then you don’t need to be talking about anime because you know nothing.
