As a life-long Masters of the Universe fan, I found the story cumbersome and the artwork poor. I suspect that Seeley and the editorial team don't really know who they are aiming this story at. For example, it seems like you have Prince Keldor doing things that at one stage would be cool for kids and included some sort of Bat-Mite version of He-Ma. The dialogue is quite childish as well. Then there is some sort of implied sex scene that maybe a teenager would approve of. However, the other characters include the Dolph Lundgren He-Man, the New Adventures characters, and even at the very start Sideshow statue versions that only mid 30s plus year olds would know about make appareances. It just seems a bit of a mish mash.

As a huge MOTU fan I really do hope this story and the art improves.
