Believe it or not, Hybrid was actually the product OF 4 separate symbiotes, who all came together to work with one ex-VAULT guard named Scott Washington, to deal with a gang war. He had a couple of back-up stories in the pages of Venom, and some New Warriors appearances. A de-amalgamated Hybrid actually kind of makes sense.
