what comics did it show that jessica is secretly attracted to peter while in a relationship with clint?

But i agree to the fact that peter should ask for jessica natasha or silver sable to hang out in their civies and it will help show that spiderman has a charming and attentive side hidden in that wise crack persona and has a close bond, after all in a superhero business, you have to have a support that you can count on in your personal live

And its ironic that Ms. Marvel x Spider-Woman are very close friends with a man who they once thought as annoying. Once they got to know the real Peter Parker, Carol Danvers and Jessica Drew immediately hit it off very well with him. Thus, it might be possible to integrate both Ms. Marvel and Spider-Woman as part of the supporting cast in The Amazing Spider-Man as civilians who maintain their respective civilian jobs. Jessica Drew as a Detective and Carol as News Journalist, for example.

Hi Roger,
The Spider-Man x Spider-Woman relationship could work as long as Peter Parker and Jessica Drew are out of costume. It would have been nice to see them interact more often. Much better than her current relationship with Hawkeye which is nothing more than a rebound romance.

With regards to Peter having a fling with any of the heroines mentioned, I think that it might be in the best interest that Peter's mutual relationship with any of the heroines(who are interested) stays at the close friends level, as for as the Earth-616 continuity is concerned. I would rather see those relationships develop over a long period of time rather than become a crash and burn romantic relationship. I loved the development of Peter and Felicia to the point where she actually loved him for himself. This was before OMD happened. Thus, I felt that Spider-Man's female partnerships should be expanded to include 6 female heroes would could be his crime fighting partner and close friend. It's possible that any of the women mentioned would date Peter Parker, including The Black Widow and Jessica Drew. I just don't think that Dan Slott will ever go in that direction. And dating a heroine is the only way for Peter to get to know them better and vice versa. He's already done that with Ms. Marvel. And I am certain that they have gone on more than one date together.

I don't feel that any of the heroines interested in Spider-Man will want a fling with him, nor do they want to have a Friends with Benefits type relationship as they have strong feelings for him that they would want more than that. Therefore, the only option that would make fans satisfied would be The Mutual Relationship Option: Dating but no serious romantic relationship.

I've been wishing lately that Dan Slott didn't have that stance, as it would be nice to see them get some of these things in before they bring back the Peter-MJ dynamic. On the other hand, I get where he's coming from in the sense that if Peter dates another superhero, it makes things too easy for him, you know? Pete having a fling with Silver Sable or Black Widow (or even She-Hulk or Ms. Marvel) would make a great story arc, though. As interesting as the Spider-Man/Spider-Woman pairing could potentially be, I think that's a route they'd never go, as it would seem a little too obvious of a pairing in my opinion.

Another thing to remember is that Dan Slott has no intention of ever having Spider-Man date a female superhero. This is why we never saw his relationship with Ms. Marvel progressed beyond their first date together. If he had written that story, Dan would see to it that the date never happened. This is why I was happy that Brian Reed wrote the story. In addition, it would be cool to see Spider-Man and The She-Hulk develop a mutual friendship for each other. If Jennifer Walters(in her human form) ever got the chance to know Peter Parker, they would become fast friends. If those two ever went out on a date, Jennifer is likely to do it in her human persona instead of the She-Hulk, which would make things interesting as she rarely ever uses her human form when it comes to picking up men she likes. I would say that The She-Hulk, Black Widow, Ms. Marvel, Silver Sable, and Spider-Woman would make great alternate crime fighting partners for Spider-Man if Felicia is unavailable of if the writer would rather use another heroine in her place.

Slott once said the when he was planning out the story for Ends of The Earth, he wanted to use The Black Cat and Venom. But neither of them was available. So he used Silver Sable and Black Widow instead. If Silver Sable was to taken the role of The Black Cat, then one would know that her feelings for Spider-Man will never go away that easily. And the What if(vol. 2) issues are #20 and #21.

With regards to The Black Widow, you should check up the old Marvel Team-up #84 thru #86. This is where Natasha kissed Spider-Man when she was under her Nancy Rushman persona. The strange thing about this situation was that Natasha told Spider-Man that she remembered everything that happen under that identity. And she never apologized for kissing him either. So there might something there between them. The only thing that had always frustrated her was Spidey's wisecracks, which might have prevented her from exploring a potential partnership with him outside of The Avengers. I sometimes feel that The Black Widow should have been Spidey's first female crime fighting partner when she first encountered him in Amazing Spider-Man #86 in the early 1970's. I certainly hope to finally see Natasha and Peter develop a serious mutual friendship together as he has with Carol Danvers and Jessica Drew(who is secretly attracted to him as well, despite being in a relationship with Hawkeye).

I definitely agree with that. There are some interesting stories that could be told there. I don't know how far Slott will take his Silver Sable thread (she did kiss Spider-Man a few issues back in that story with the time door), but I've got a feeling he's mainly doing it as a nod to that "What If?" issue where Spidey married her instead of MJ. I can't remember what issue it was, but it was part of a 2-parter.

As far as Black Widow, she's a redhead, so I could see it.

I really loved this issue. And I am quite happy to see Silver reveal her feelings for Spider-Man. Although, I doubt that her feelings will go away. The scene where Peter tells Silver that his heart belongs to another woman, That's to tell the reader that he wants to get back with MJ. The thing is that if another writer had written that scene, Peter x Silver would have kissed for sure only to have The Black Widow interrupt their acknowledgement for each other. Speaking of The Black Widow, I like to think that her view on Spider-Man has changed as well because she has never witness his leadership abilities. Something that she usually finds attractive in the sorts of men she's close to. I would love to see The Black Widow and Spider-Man in a serious partnership. Afterall, Daredevil now has The Black Cat. They might as well give The Black Widow to Spidey as his occasional crime fighting partner. I feel that Silver Sable and The Black Widow are great alternatives to The Black Cat. Don't you agree?
