The only thing that would have made this movie better is if they had ditched the opening scene (Egg Shen being interviews). It would have been great if the first magic thing was during the funeral / gang fight. In a Marvel way you move the Egg Shen interview scene to mid-credits and the monster on the semi scene until the after credits.
