These are complaints from angry comic fans to stop messing with the things they loved so much. When people masquerade as victims it makes the stories of real victims seem trivial.

I don’t appreciate you threatening and bullying the comic book community for not agreeing with your political ideology, that has nothing to do with the Marvel Universe. In your own words Matt, “go fuck yourself”. You want captain America to “kick the shit” out of the bad mean bullies? This article is hypocritical, and pathetic, obviously it’s not okay to harass somebody, but how about addressing how “diversity” is boosting Marvel’s comic book sales… oh wait, your just accosting the rapidly evaporating loyal fan base for not agreeing with your regressive ideology, how about you stop pretending like you speak for the comic book community, take your pretentious agenda, and go fuck yourself with it.

Heather is a strong, professional artist working for one of the largest comic book companies in the world, I don’t think she needs you to white knight and demand people apologize to her for being mean on twitter. Obviously the harassment is not okay, and thankfully twitter engineered a *block* button so we have the technology to handle this. But because people prefer traditional comics that don’t pander to audiences, and constantly concerns itself with identity politics, THEY are the problem? Comic fans LOVE diverse heroes, but a liberal SJW agenda driven ideologue is not diversity, it’s just sloppy propaganda. Your saying my only options are to stop being an “asshole” (for what, having a different opinion?) or stop reading comics? I’ll do you one better, I wont invest in your shitty “diversity” comics. This isn’t bullying. Saying that it is discredits children across the world being pushed to suicide from hurtful words and implying these complaints are the same as the trouble those children endure is dispicable. I also think you’re missing the point of what people are saying. These aren’t direct attacks, these are complaints from people who don’t want Marvel to push any more political agendas. I’m a feminist and it still sickens me Marvel cares more about pushing politics than writing stories i and fellow comic readers can enjoy. Imagine if I wrote a pantheon of original and memorable characters over a span of about 2 decades (or at least that’s how long I’ve been reading them) and out of nowhere I start making bad guys say things about going green and the heroes are always supporting rich oil tycoons. It stopped being about the stories and more about a contrived message. I actually DID stop reading Marvel in favor of DC because they kept pulling this shit.
