I have to agree. The show is missing HEART. There is a fundamental misunderstanding by the Network and the NEW producers of what the show is. Too much Mess with no thought to strategy is not a Physical Challenge, it’s a mess.
I also miss the way the Obstacle course was shot. That one camera following the action for 60 seconds made it the most exciting 60 seconds on television. All the cutting to just to see more slim covering the contestants takes me out of the moment.
But more importantly is, where’s the charm or the humor. The heart of the show has been replaced by making it a big mess. The game will always work. IT’S A GOOD GAME. But what made it special was the Heart and Charm. The understanding that fun and funny is more important than mess. I miss the Creativeness. I miss the Simplicity. I miss humor.
Liza is not awful. I just don’t fell she wants to be there and doesn’t fully understand the function of host. The Job of Game Show host Looks easy, But it’s not. Marc Summers was and still is brilliant at it. It’s natural to him. She is an actress playing the roll of Game Show Host.
I still think the show is good. But it could have been Great. Let’s hope it’s a learning process and Nickelodeon will strive to try and capture the Magic of the Original. LETS HOPE!

Sad how people hate this show because Marc isn’t the host and and a YouTuber is instead. Don’t like it? Don’t watch it then. Simple at that. I think this is an amazing revival, amazing to have Marc on the show at all.
