Some people have theorized that these people were not only killed, but erased from reality which could mean the next movie might start with a whole new reality where Captain AMerica never had a Bucky, and Shuri is empress of Wakanda. And if that’s true, what does that mean for Agent’s of Shield? I imagine that’s a reveal the movie wants to save until people are back in seats next year.
