We know that the Mad King had Wildfire that he used during the rebellion and then hid stashes of it, according to legend and rumor, around Kings Landing while he was going mad ( which was shown during Bran’s long flashback during his training with the One Eyed Raven a few episodes ago). Maybe Cersei is planning on going rogue and using the Wildfire to try and defeat the High Sparrow, by setting fire to the city and killing as many followers as she can? She does seem to be pretty desperate at this point, especially with Jamie gone and the option of trial by combat, and almost certain victory with The Mountain, gone as well…..
