Sing Street is NOT a musical. Not even close to it. It’s a drama that has music in it. There’s no musical numbers in it at all. No busting out into song and dance. If you can tell me a sequence that does that please fill me in.

Haven’t seen la la land yet, but sing street was so great that I would be shocked if it could top sing street. Sing street should be the movie of the year at the Oscars. It should have been this generation’s ‘Grease’, I don’t know what happened.

This is wonderful. We found Sing Street right after the election and it’s gotten a ton of rewatches since then. Beautiful movie with such an uplifting soundtrack!!!
