Still haven’t seen that one, but I need to. I’ve actually heard the original is better, though both benefit from having Peter Dinklage among the cast. 😉

I forgot “Death at a Funeral” remake with Chris Rock and James Marsden. There is a scene in which Marsden, I believe, is singing Amazing Grace (when under the influence of drugs). It struck me as so funny that I couldn’t stop laughing and my friend finally told me to shut up because people at the theater were staring at us. I think I laughed for minutes after the scene.

I believe that is one of the funniest movies I have ever seen, and I include that in the classic lists of “Animal House,” “Stripes,” and “The Blues Brothers.” The hair-waxing scene in the “40-year-old Virgin” is great, especially when considering it wasn’t rehearsed and he actually had his chest waxed. Some of the other current movies that I believe deserve consideration include “I Love You, Man,” “Tropic Thunder,” and the classic romantic comedy “You’ve Got Mail.” I may be a minority but I thought “Bridesmaids” and “Borat” were both overrated.
